From what I've seen in the videos it's the Belmont Shores team. From what I've seen on the Atlanta Celtics team website, it's them. Let's get into the first few tournaments and let the cream rise to the top!

You really never know before teams actually start playing. On that note, I'll go with the Playaz...they've at least done something already this year! ;)

Gotta run to go catch my flight to Vegas...talk to you all from there!

I was going based on results already at the time, of which the only event that had been played was the Spring Fling (and as such, only the Playaz had actually won anything). At this point, parity really seems to have reigned, but I'd likely go with Indiana Elite*. They won what is generally the toughest tournament to win of the entire year, namely the Houston Kingwood Classic*, as well as their own tournament in mid-May, the adidas May Classic. That said, calling any team the best in the country at this point is simply very likely to open yourself up to substantial amounts of criticism later.

*disclosure: I have received compensation from both Indiana Elite and VisionSports (operators of the Houston Kingwood Classic), however, such compensation is entirely irrelevant to my own personal opinions and beliefs, which have been stated above.

if the Atlanta Celtics can put it together it could be magical.

Magical??? What u talkin bout Big D? Clearly Indiana Elite has been the top team this summer...Champions of Bob Gibbons Tournament...Five Players on that All-Tournament team (first time in history one team had more than three players named)....Dominated Adidas May Classic...Won Kingwood.

Three Summer Trophies...Now that is Magical!

I saw Belmont Shore at GBOA Champions tournament and they didn't look too good. D-1 Greyhounds were tough and destroyed the competition - I think they're the best.

Belmont had most of their players in the Semis and got outhustled by SE Elite. D1 Greyhounds are a complete TEAM...well coached, play defense, and they PASS the ball to the open man. Can't be said for many other teams out there.

Belmont shore did not have one key player, that's demar derozan, with him and brandon playing on the same team, that team would be the best team outside of indiana elite. The d1 greyhounds are a good team, but would not be able to match up with the likes of pump n run with a healthy cast of jrue holiday, larry drew, jerime anderson, reeves nelson, and the weir twins. Pump n run got beat up by indiana elite at kingwood, but i wish i coulda seen them play eachother with more than 10 minutes rest from a previous game, i bet it would have been a bit closer. But like I said in this tournament belmont did not have their key player, as d1 had their whole team.
