As there are many impressive players in the 2008 class, who do you want starting for your all star team? Is Jennings running the show or is it Evans or Holiday, or a combo? Lets hear who can put together the best starting five.
for pg, I'd go with Brandon Jennings, brandon has become a really good catch and shoot type of guy, when surrounded by a ton of talent brandon can be the most unselfish guy on the court. Brandon can score at will but sometimes gets off track
for sg, i'd go with jrue holiday because he makes those around him better and is a ferocious defender, in high school he was still doing a full court press when his team was up by nearly 70 points.
for sf I'd go with Demar Derozan, simply put, Demar is the hardest guy to guard because of his jumper and athletic ability, either he's going to hit his perimeter shot, fade away, beat you inside, or bang on you inside. And watch out for him on the break, the rim becomes eye level as he takes off.
pf I'd go with Al Farouq Aminu, Al Farouq has size, quickness, and athletic ability, with all that combined into a 6'8-6'9 body, you have a really solid pf. He's not afraid to bang on people and his ball handling skills are pretty good for his size
C I'd have to go with Tony Woods, this guy plays to his strenghts, many times we see 7 footers trying to take perimiter shots, he does not settler for that, tony woods will dunk, dunk, dunk, and dunk somemore, making his inside presence something to fear at 7 feet tall
